You can see the sculpture at the intersection of Socialist and Karl Marx streets. The monument was designed by Vladimir Gavrilenko. Locals call the object Beaver Samuilovich.
The beaver is depicted in the costume of a city dweller of the early twentieth century: trousers, shoes, a shirt with a bow tie and a vest, and on top a frock coat and a hat on his head. The pose of the sculpture is very elegant and relaxed, with one paw the Beaver leans on a cane. Residents of Bobruisk consider the monument to the Beaver a symbol of their city.
